I don’t know about everyone else but I can’t wait until we can DO ACTUAL RL EVENTS AGAIN!!!

But for now, anyone have any ideas for online events? Let me know!

This is basically stuff I have been + will be running for my friends on a private Discord, but feel free to steal any ideas:
    – watch movies online together via Watch2Gether (which I noticed you guys have already done)
    – play Jackbox games (or other games that can be played co-operatively, like visual novel/dating sim games, etc).
    – schedule an online viewing of the High Park cherry blossom stream
    – virtual pub social (with possible drinking games!)
    – virtual karaoke (example setup & experience here: https://www.vulture.com/2020/03/how-to-host-zoom-karaoke-while-coronavirus-social-distancing.html)
    – bad fanfic readings

That’s about all I got for now 😛

I have on idea but it requires a bit of coordination. It might be more feasible in meatspace just because you kinda want everyone to be able to see the same screen which is just easier when you can use a projector.

And while it’s outdated at this time this remains my favorite video for explaining Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

It’s about $10 and the copy downloaded from steam is DRM free. Because of the nature of the game you really need at least one person who knows how each of the 6 stations works but beyond that one person everyone else can be at varying skill levels.
